Shipping and Handling

We attempt to ship your order as soon as we receive it.

We use the following shipping methods:

Standard UPS Ground
UPS Second Day
UPS Overnight
USPS 1st Class
USPS Priority Mail

Shipping and Handling fees are already
included in the price of shippable items.
No additional charges apply.

Reschedule or Cancellations

Important!
If you have already scheduled time and have made a deposit but need to reschedule or cancel, please go to our contact us page or send us an email at:

You must contact us at least 24 hours prior to appointment time to reschedule or cancel to avoid a $20.00 non-refundable service charge. See Appointments below.

Returns

Customers often ask what our return policy is. We aim for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we want to hear about it. Let us know if something is wrong and we will do what we can to make it right. Due to copyright infringement, CD's and DVD's are non-refundable or returnable items. Damaged items may be exchanged for identical item only. Some restrictions may apply.

Please contact us prior to shipping back any returns.

Deposits

Deposits are for date reservations and scheduled hours only. Extended sessions will continue only when hours are paid in advance for duration requested. Absolutely no products will be released until time spent is paid in full (No Exceptions). All unpaid projects will remain property of Nostalgic Studios until balance is paid in full. No project quotes. All work is based on hourly rates only. Some storage media must be supplied by customer and/or is subject to additional charges. Ask your sales rep for information on storage media.

*Prices do not include storage media and/or duplication of projects.

If your project completes before using all of your deposit, you can keep a credit on account or receive a refund for the remaining credit.

*Maximum refund is $50.00 unless agreed upon in advance.

8mm Film Transfers

We take pride and special care to provide you with the best service possible. Due to the unpredictable condition of film (color and/or damage) we cannot guarantee all your film is transferable. Please contact a sales rep before making payments. By making a payment to us or on our site, you agree and acknowledge that Nostalgic Studios is not responsible for damage to film prior to and/or during digital transfer. Customer is solely responsible for all shipping charges, damage or lost items that may occur during transit by shipper. Some media is not included in packages and may require additional charges (contact your sales rep for additional copies). Original Film and digital copies will be returned to customer once project is completed. Standard processing time is 20 to 30 days. Digital transfers are to AVCHD format and can be transferred to DVD, *Blu-ray, Quicktime .MOV, WMV MP4 and other H.264 formats.

Appointments

If you decide an appointment is necessary to negotiate your project please read the following carefully. Due to our large amount of workload and attention our current clients require, we have now inducted a non refundable $20.00 appointment fee. The fee is due 48 hrs prior to the arranged appointment time or the appointment will be pulled from our schedule. Only if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled 24 hrs prior to the appointment, you can get a full refund or reapply it to the rescheduled appointment. If the second appointment is cancelled the fee is no longer refundable. If it is decided (during the appointment) we will do business together on a project, the $20.00 fee will be credited to your new account and applied to your current project as long as the project start date is within 90 days of that appointment. If the project session is cancelled for any reason after scheduling, the fee becomes non-refundable and applied to administrative costs. Thank You for your cooperation and understanding.
